IWS was founded on a simple but powerful idea. If we help our clients grow their business they will remain clients. Our focus has been and always will be on providing our clients with the best possible service.
Out of space
3PL providers run out of space too frequently and can't handle additional items for existing clients. If your business is providing warehouse space to clients then you can never run out of space, it is after all your product. At IWS we want our clients to grow but more importantly we want to grow with our clients. We promise that as your needs grow, our capabilities will grow right along with you.
Growing too fast
Companies that utilize 3PL services are often times met with additional expenses if their company grows too quickly. The response from many 3PL's is not "congratulations on the growth and thanks for the business." The response is, "we need to charge you more for the services we're providing because the additional growth is putting a strain on our network." Imagine being in a business where you can charge your clients more as they buy more. At IWS we want you to grow. We want you to use our network to the fullest of its ability.
Growing too slowly
This comes up quite often in the 3PL world. You sign a contract guaranteeing your rates for a specific time period and at the end of that period you're told your business isn't growing fast enough and your rates will need to be increased. If you're reading this and living the American dream, growing your business from the ground up through blood, sweat, and tears, imagine someone telling you you're not growing fast enough. At IWS we quote you rates based on your current usage. As your business grows, we look for areas where we can increase efficiencies which allows us to continue offering you the most competitive costs.
Legacy clients get preference
When a 3PL has limited resources they will often favor larger and longer standing clients. They will ensure that every order is shipped in a timely fashion and there is always room on their truck for these clients. WE DON'T DO THAT. Every client, large or small is an essential part of our business. Plus, you never know which small home based business is going to be the next Microsoft. Could you imagine if you were the person that sold Bill Gates his office supplies when he was just starting out? Some company out there had him as an account and probably never thought what would come out of that small office. Imagine what type of client they could have had simply by treating a small client as they would a large client.
